As a QA Automation Engineer specializing in Cypress, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests to ensure the high quality of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

:

Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for end-to-end testing of web applications.

Design and execute automated tests for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand application requirements and define testing strategies.

Identify, analyse, and document defects, ensuring timely resolution with the development team.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation frameworks and testing processes.

Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews in an Agile development environment.

Ensure consistent test coverage and traceability by integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation and system performance.

Perform manual testing as needed to support the overall QA process.

Qualifications

:

2+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation with a focus on Cypress or similar frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).

Strong understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ features.

Experience with test automation best practices, including test case design, implementation, and maintenance.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.

Good knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Experience in integrating automated tests with build tools (e.g., Jenkins, Circle CI, Travis CI).

Knowledge of REST API testing and related tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured) is a plus.

Experience with version control tools like Git and issue tracking systems like Jira.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: Up to ?600,000.00 per year
