Your Role


Enable and empower the local QA Engineers to perform their roles effectively by doing the following:



• Oversee efforts to enhance testing in our CI/CD pipelines by planning, designing, and execution of test cases for our software products.
• Ensure the identifying and reporting of defects, ensuring that all issues are documented and clearly communicated to the software teams for resolution.
• Maintains and improves automated testing procedures, ensuring they are accurate and modern to reflect revisions made to software and systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and participate in code reviews to provide feedback on issues relating to testing with software development and systems teams at other global sites.
• Learn continuously and stay up to date with trends, technologies, and direction in the technology & QA industry and help promote recommendations for the software teams, their processes, and projects.
• Work with the Security team to identify any vulnerabilities and revise any test cases as appropriate. Your Background:

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:



• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, software tester, software developer, or other similar role.
• 2+ years of leadership in a software team (as team lead, scrum master, project lead, etc.).
• Proficiency in test frameworks (e.g. JUnit and gTest) test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, and JMeter) and scripting languages. (e.g. Bash, python, etc.).
• Strong communication skills (both written and oral) for effectively identifying, documenting, and resolving issues.
• A self-starter that enjoys and thrives working with autonomy. Able to set goals and KPIs for themselves and the QA team.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to design solutions for complex engineering problems.
• Must enjoy working in a creative and collaborative environment as part of a cross-functional project team. Additional Background Preferences:


• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Experience with modern software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
• Passion for working with cutting-edge technologies such as AI code/test generation tools (e.g. GitHub CoPilot)
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience working with Linux operating system.
• Experience working with applications deployed in the public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience working in the Automotive industry with vehicle network systems.
• Experience "shifting left" the elements of QA and testing in software development.Why join us?
