• Gain full understanding of the technical and business systems within your remit.
• Create and manage end to end QA deliverables for projects.
• Excellent understanding of database principles, structures, theories and practices.
• Strong SQL development skills.
• Perform Functional, Integration, System, API and database testing.
• Triage failures identify root-cause and define corrective actions.
• Work closely with developers, business, and other stakeholders in a highly collaborative Agile environment.

Qualifications:
Desired Skills

• 6-8 years of experience in Testing of business software applications preferably banking applications Should have Automation experience in Selenium with Java & Rest Assured tool.
• Strong knowledge of automation framework like Postman, REST API Automation, BDD Cucumber. Page Object Model Experience working with CI/CD Pipeline Integration via Git Hub.
• Very strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with all Agile practices regulated environments and software development practices.
• Experience in in other Agile approaches such as Kanban and Would be desirable Background as an engineer/developer, tester or Business Analyst.
• Experience in testing Desktop, mobile and Web applications - both front end and backend Good knowledge of SQL to frame basic queries. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
• Ability to document/identify high quality manual scripts that effectively feed automation.
• Strong understanding of test design techniques.
• An interest in business domain and key business drivers influencing quality of software applications.
• Ability to work with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Project Managers to create and prioritize Test Plans and Test Cases.
• Good Knowledge on Bank Payment Integration.
• Understanding of HTML and XML / JSON file. Utilize Postman API for webservices testing.
• Utilize Jira, Confluence to track project artefacts.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience in Retail banking, Lending.
• Exposure to software packages like Talend, Mambu, thought machine, nCino, Salesforce, MuleSoft will be an Added Advantage.
