Team And Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our Mumbai/Pune-based Quality Assurance team. The position oversees the Automation testing of Market Risk and Regulatory Risk in Calypso Trading Solution. This is a tremendous opportunity to strengthen technical, business & product skills. The position requires someone with a strong motivation and desire to work in a challenging environment. An understanding of the release and software development lifecycle is a must. Responsibilities Assure the quality and persistence of the software by understanding the requirement/specification document and designing test cases to capture bugs within the system. Execution of test cases and testing the corrections of bugs and enhancements Work in close collaboration with both our Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure the inclusion of enhancements requested by clients in the software and ensure delivery Design, development, & execution of manual and automated test solutions Analysis of automated test results and failures Maintenance of existing automated test solutions Documenting test cases and maintaining the test library Environment management. Creation, upgrade, and maintenance of test environments, creation, and maintenance of test data Skills And Requirements Master\'s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Mathematics, Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering graduate or full-time MBA in finance from a reputed institute 7+ years of experience in Capital Market, preferably Market Risk/Regulatory Risk within a Product/Software company or Investment Bank Good Experience is required in analyzing portfolios with different risk factors (credit risk, liquidity risk, market risk, and operational risk) In-depth understanding of various risk reports such as Value-at-Risk (VaR) and Historical Simulation (HS), and the risk modeling techniques that underlie such reports Good Experience is required in completing scenario tests and stress tests for financial risk models Experience in Trade Capture for any of the asset class Working knowledge of any of the asset classes (EQ, FI, COM, FX, FXO, IRD, CDS, MM, Derivatives, Pricing, Repo) Worked as a Business Analyst within the Development or QA function of a software company Ability to read complex requirement/specification documents and design test cases Ability to do complex setups and configuration and execute test cases Strong ability to work independently in a techno-functional environment Experience with phases of the test cycle (Test planning, Test case development, test execution: manual and automated, regression, system test & user test) Very good Analytical Skills and problem-solving ability Must be a fast learner, self-motivated, team player, and collaborator Experience with SQL Queries Hands-on experience with Xray or QualityCenter will be an advantage More About Us Our Office: Adenza Mumbai is located on the 2nd floor of the Ackruti Center Point building.
