Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Python Internship with a passion for AI and deployment to join our team at HighNest. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to work on the backend infrastructure of SketchMyHome.AI, utilizing Python and other technologies to support the seamless integration and deployment of AI algorithms.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs for SketchMyHome.AI.

2. Implement AI algorithms and models into the backend infrastructure using Python and other relevant technologies.

3. Work closely with AI engineers to optimize algorithm performance and scalability for deployment in production environments.

4. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the reliability and efficiency of backend systems.

5. Assist in the deployment of backend services using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

6. Contribute to the design and implementation of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing and deployment.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend systems with frontend interfaces and third-party APIs.

8. Stay updated on the latest developments in backend development, AI technologies, and deployment strategies to propose innovative solutions for SketchMyHome.AI.

9. Document code, processes, and technical specifications to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability.

10. Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning activities to contribute ideas and insights for product improvement.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

2. Strong programming skills in Python and experience with backend development frameworks such as Django or Flask.

3. Knowledge of AI concepts and experience implementing AI algorithms using libraries like TensorFlow or PyTorch.

4. Familiarity with deployment tools and methodologies, including containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

5. Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience developing and consuming web services.

6. Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

9. Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with team members.

10. Enthusiasm for technology and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic startup environment.
