Role and Responsibilities

• Design and develop: Using Python (Django), design and develop new features (primarily back-end) that are scalable, secure, efficient, maintainable, and easy to integrate.
• Collaborate and Communicate: Work with product managers / delivery managers to estimate, integrate, and implement required business ideas
• Establish Standards: Set and adhere to technical standards, tools, and processes, to ensure consistency across the organization.
• Optimize Performance: Ensure optimal application performance, security, and scalability across different devices and browsers.
• Synergy with UI / UX team: Working closely with UI / UX teams to ensure front-end and back-end integration by paying attention to detail and user experience.
• Write Clean Code: Maintain and improve code quality by following best practices, conducting code reviews, and ensuring code is well-documented.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing (including system test, unit test, and integration test) and debugging of applications to ensure a high level of functionality and performance.
• Proficient with software development tools and practices such as Jira (or something similar), Confluence (or something similar), Agile methodologies (Scrum), Docker, and Kubernetes etc.

### Qualifications and Skills

• Academics - Engineering degree in computer science or Information technology
• Experience: 4 - 8 years in Python (Django).
• Certifications - A reputed certification in the space of Python (Django), Web development, Scrum, JavaScript, or similar.
• Technical Skills: Python, Django, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, API, OOP, design patterns, RESTful API, Git, Docker etc.
• Optional Skills: Knowledge of HTMX, Alpine.js, Linux, Redis, Python RQ or RabbitMQ is additional advantageous.
