• Work as a seasoned developer to maintain software and web applications, leveraging your Python and Java expertise.
• Create data models and recommend best practices for risk report creation and data visualization.
• Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of complex risk platforms, including web applications and databases.
• Define KPIs with clear objectives and regularly monitor performance.
• Work closely with Business Analysts to gather requirements for analytics and reporting, troubleshoot issues, and optimize report performance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on software design and architecture.
• Maintain detailed design methodologies and project documentation for solutions and platforms.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk, or Front Office Risk within an investment banking environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Java, with deep knowledge in risk system architecture and design.
• Proven track record of working on large risk programs, including regulatory programs and risk change initiatives.
• Experience in the full software development lifecycle, including test-driven development.
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices is a plus.
• Strong communication and documentation skills to work effectively with both business and technology teams, especially in remote settings.
