Job Description

You are expected to actively manage a team for multi-layer PVC Plastic Pipe extrusion and PVC granules production lines at our factory in Podalakur Mandal, Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh. You must organize and develop systems, procedures, and plan activities.

Location: Podalakur, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh

Requirement:

1. Must be an established leader and have the capability to manage people of different skills, role assignments, schedule management, appraisals etc.

2. Must be able to read, interpret, apply, the plastics & chemical processes, engineering drawings, technical manuals for various parts, sub-assemblies, components, machines etc.

3. Must be fluent in English to read and understand various documents.

4. Must have hands-on experience in running automatic multi-layer PVC Pipe extrusion and PVC granules production lines.

5. Must have hands on experience in raw material inspection, quality control, supply chain development.

6. Must be able to oversee the operation of aligned activities in plant e.g., recycling, crimping, packing.

7. Must work with leadership, internal and external teams to develop new products and align with corporate goals.

8. Must work with our sales and service teams across all branches to resolve any product issue.

9. Must maintain and exceed quality standards while managing costs.

10. Must optimize production considering line capacity, order schedule.

Factory Maintenance:

1. Must have hands on experience in performing preventive maintenance in multi-layer PVC Pipe extrusion and PVC granules production lines.

2. Must have hands on experience in trouble shooting day to day problems in multi-layer PVC Pipe extrusion and PVC granules production lines.

3. Must be able to identify problems, conduct root-cause analysis, rectify them to overhaul/service any machinery, and prevent recurrence of these problems.

4. Must have knowledge of using, maintaining, and calibrating various extruders, braiders, coolers, ovens, dies and fixtures.

5. Periodic checks and calibration of various equipment to ensure working conditions in manufacturing or service. Keep record of calibration.

6. Record keeping of calibration done, instrument breakdowns, change in process or components.

Certification & Compliance Responsibility:

1. Working knowledge of various certifications, testing and quality standards is required.

2. System implementation Knowledge for ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.

3. You will be responsible for record keeping at the factory to comply with various certifications.

Required experience :

At least 5 years in running of multi-layer PVC Pipe extrusion and PVC granules production lines , strong skills in product development, quality assurance, supply chain management, customer-interface, written and verbal communication, trouble shooting and creative thinking etc.

Education: Diploma/Degree from CIPET ,BE/BSc in Plastics or Chemical Engineering.
