to manage the mixing and preparation of PVC resin and additives for extrusion or molding processes. The operator will be responsible for ensuring consistent batch quality, adherence to safety standards, and maintaining proper documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor PVC compounding mixers, blenders, and auxiliary equipment.
Weigh, measure, and mix raw materials including PVC resin, plasticizers, stabilizers, lubricants, pigments, and fillers as per formulation.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job instructions for accurate mixing.
Maintain batch records, material usage logs, and quality control data.
Perform pre-start checks and routine maintenance of mixing equipment.
Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or material inconsistencies.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in PVC compounding or plastic mixing operations.
Ability to understand and follow technical formulations and batch sheets.
Familiarity with various compounding additives and material handling.
Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Physically fit - capable of lifting heavy materials and working in hot environments.
Attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility.
Willingness to work in shifts and/or overtime as required.
