With over 25 years of experience in manufacturing and servicing boiler components, SARA Industry is a trusted provider for major industries like sugar, cement, chemical, pharmaceutical and paper in India. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchase Manager located in Chennai. The Purchase Manager will be responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials, equipment and supplies required for manufacturing boilers. The day-to-day tasks include identifying reliable vendors, negotiating contracts, coordinating with production teams, generating purchase orders, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Qualifications Expertise in procurement and purchasing operations Experience and knowledge in the manufacturing industry and related supply chain management Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently Familiarity with inventory management and ERP systems Ability to work independently and in a team environment Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering Prior experience in purchasing and procurement for boiler manufacturing industries is a plus
