Job Title: Executive - Procurement and Vendor DevelopmentLocation: Changodar, AhmedabadExperience:1-3 yrsQualification: Bachelors degree in Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical/supply chain managementSalary: upto 3 LPAJoining: immediatelyqualifications and Skills:Bachelors degree in Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical/supply chain managementVery good English language skills (spoken and written)Must have intention for long-term employmentAt least 1 year of experience in sourcing and supplier development.Strong negotiation, management, and decision-making skills.Having exposure to ISO quality management system would be preferred.The ability to travel for work and ability to multitask effectively.Key Responsibilities:Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors.Meeting with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services,negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.Conducting research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the bestpricing and product quality.Implementing vendor selection programs to ensure that the best vendors are secured.Conducting interviews with new vendors and informing approved vendors of theirresponsibilities and obligations.Establishing standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors.Evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them.Develops, implements and manages contracts and service level agreements forthe procurement of goods, services and leasesCommunicate with external vendors/suppliers during on-site inspections.Cooperate and coordinate with colleagues, customers, vendors, etc. for achievingcompany goals.Abide by the company code of conduct.Salary: CTC 2.4 Lakh To 3.0 Lakh per Year
