Experienced Purchase Executive (API / Pharma - Manufacturing)


Prior experience in API, Speciality chemicals & Excipient raw chemicals will only consider.

Willing to work Monday to Saturday.


Qualification : BSc / B. Pharma Pharmacy, BE (Chemical) & B. Sc Chemical Only


:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for APIs and Excipients, considering factors such as quality, cost, lead time, and regulatory compliance.
  
• Identify and qualify potential suppliers of APIs and Excipients.
  
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers for the procurement of APIs and Excipients.
  
• Prepare RFQ & Purchase orders in system for APIs and Excipients.
  
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve any out of specification observed in procurement & arrange corrective and preventive action if materials rejected.
  
• Support Critical quality audits of suppliers.
  
• Maintain MIS for procurement related activities.
  
• Track and analyse procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
  
• Stay up-to-date on changes in the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory requirements related to API and Excipient procurement.
  
• Participate in cost-reduction initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 years of core experience in purchasing chemical raw materials, including APIs, specialty chemicals, and excipients, is required.
  
• Candidates with core experience in the Procurement of APIs, excipient, and specialty chemical for Pharma industry should apply.
  
• The candidate must have experience specifically in the procurement of APIs, Excipients and other chemical raw materials.
  
• Proficiency in Word and Excel, along with strong communication skills, is essential.
  
• The ideal candidate will possess a solid track record of sourcing vendors for chemical raw materials, negotiating prices, and successfully procuring chemicals.
  
• Responsibilities include following up with local vendors and traders for rates and material samples, as well as coordinating with suppliers and transporters to ensure on-time delivery.
