: Purchase & Procurement Executive
Job Purpose
Overview:
The Purchase and Procurement Executive is responsible for managing the acquisition of goods and services required for the efficient operation of the mall. This role involves sourcing and purchasing supplies, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring the timely delivery of quality products. The Executive will work closely with various departments to meet their procurement needs while maintaining cost-effectiveness and adherence to company policies.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including identifying needs, sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and placing orders.
• Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery performance to ensure the best value for the mall.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
• Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and delivery schedules to achieve favorable contracts.
• Monitor vendor performance and address any issues related to product quality or service delivery.
• Ensure timely and accurate order placement and follow-up to prevent delays and stock outs.
• Track and manage purchase orders, ensuring that all products and services are delivered as per agreed terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to ensure adequate stock availability.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock replenishment processes.
• Implement cost-saving strategies and optimize procurement processes to achieve budgetary targets.
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, expenditure, and supplier performance to senior management.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
• Work closely with various departments (e.g., Marketing, Operations) to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address any issues related to procurement and supply chain.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the procurement functions
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven 3+ experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the mall or retail industry.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards, market trends, and procurement best practices.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
