• Vendor Management:

• Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, price, delivery time, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Procurement Process:
• Review purchase requisitions from different departments within the company to identify procurement needs.
• Generate and issue purchase orders to approved suppliers, ensuring accuracy of specifications and quantities.
• Monitor order status and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Conduct quality inspections of incoming materials to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished goods to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Analyze inventory data to identify potential stock shortages or overstocking issues.
• Implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs.
• Cost Control:
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers to achieve the best possible cost for materials.
• Analyze purchase data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs.
• Track and report on procurement expenses to ensure adherence to budget.
• Compliance and Regulatory:
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., GMP, FDA).
• Maintain documentation related to supplier qualifications, purchase orders, quality certificates, and delivery receipts.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes that may impact procurement practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or related field.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
• Experience in vendor management and supplier evaluation
• Analytical skills to analyze data and identify cost-saving opportunities
