Job Description

We are seeking for a Purchase Officer who will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for interior fit out projects. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in procurement operations, vendor management, and expertise in using ERP systems to optimize purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Planning:
• Plan and forecast material requirements based on project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and engineers to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Vendor Management:
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for high-quality materials and services.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to ensure consistent supply and competitive pricing.
• Purchase Operations:
• Prepare purchase orders, request quotations, and conduct price negotiations.
• Ensure procurement is cost-effective while adhering to quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor stock levels and maintain an optimal inventory to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinate with the stores team to track and manage material movement.
• ERP System Management:
• Use ERP software to streamline procurement processes, including purchase order creation, supplier invoicing, and tracking.
• Generate reports from the ERP system to provide insights on procurement costs, vendor performance, and inventory levels.
• Compliance & Documentation:
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and delivery notes.
• Cost Control:
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses.
• Regularly review market trends to benchmark costs and negotiate effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Interior Fitouts or construction industry.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, or other procurement software).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of materials and equipment used in interior fitout projects.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
