Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchase Officer to manage procurement for our food cart business. The successful candidate will source high-quality ingredients, supplies, and equipment while ensuring timely delivery and optimal pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source and purchase ingredients, supplies, and equipment for food carts

- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors

- Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and payment conditions

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards

- Manage inventory levels, track orders, and minimize waste

- Collaborate with chefs, operations team, and other stakeholders

- Analyze market trends, prices, and product availability

- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management

- Strong knowledge of food industry, ingredients, and suppliers

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

- Basic math skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities

- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred

Nice to Have:

- Experience with food cart or mobile food vending operations

- Knowledge of inventory management software and technology

- Certification in food safety, procurement, or supply chain management

- Familiarity with local health and safety regulations

- Additional language skills or international procurement experience

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
