Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Purchase Manager for the Solar Power Solution industry in Vasco Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc. Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation. You should be able to multitask effectively, be an effective communicator, and should have an attitude of project ownership. Job Responsibilities Conduct thorough research to identify potential vendors for the procurement of goods and services. Compare and evaluate offers from different suppliers to ensure optimal quality and pricing. Negotiate contract terms, including pricing and delivery schedules, to secure favorable agreements for the company. Monitor orders and ensure timely delivery of products, addressing any delays or issues that arise. Review the quality of purchased products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications. Enter order details into internal databases accurately, including vendor information, quantities, and prices. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices for auditing purposes. Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses, to provide insights for decision-making. Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of purchased products. Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay informed about industry trends and developments. Demonstrated experience in managing a team is essential for this role. Ability to coordinate with different teams within the organization to ensure smooth procurement processes. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and management. Job Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar procurement role. Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices, including researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors. Understanding of supply chain procedures to optimize procurement processes. Solid analytical skills and strong negotiation abilities to secure favorable terms.
