Job Description
Position Title: Sourcing / Purchase Manager
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 8-10 Years
Location: MahapeRoles & Responsibilities:
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Identifying Sourcing opportunities and engaging with reliable suppliers
- Cost - Analyst:
ii. Conducting Cost assessment and maintaining Should-cost records for critical high value parts.
- Negotiating with suppliers to secure advantageous terms for Service, Electronics and Mechanical categories.
- Responsible for Long term supply contracts and Service contracts / agreement
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers to ensure on-going feasibility. Review and manage Supplier capacity dynamically.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Responsible for Supplier Rating and Supplier Management
- Supplier Inventory and Asset Management
- Publishing Key Sourcing Metrics
- Person should be capable of handling a team.
- Having a proven record for tough negotiations
- strong communication skills.
