The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and a proven track record in managing vendor relationships and cost analysis.Qualifications and Skills

• Solid understanding of supply chain management principles
• Experience in inventory management and maintaining optimal stock levels
• Effective contract management skills to ensure advantageous terms
• Proficiency in conducting market research to identify new suppliers and trends
• Ability to budget and manage financial aspects of procurement

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies in line with company goals
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms
• Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods and timely delivery
• Conduct cost analysis to ensure cost-effective procurement practices
• Oversee inventory management to ensure sufficient stock levels without overstocking
• Monitor market trends and collaborate with suppliers for continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and optimize procurement processes
