At Strolar, We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchase Executive to join our team and play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain and procurement processes.
Position Overview:
The Procurement executive will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement of materials and services required for our steel solar manufacturing operations. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement within the manufacturing sector, with a particular focus on steel and solar technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives and support our manufacturing processes for steel solar products.
• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery performance. Maintain and strengthen relationships with key suppliers.
• Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms.
• Cost Management: Monitor and manage procurement budgets, striving to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements. Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Inventory Control: Collaborate with inventory and production teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize disruptions in the manufacturing process.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that procured materials meet the required quality standards and specifications. Address any quality issues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly.
• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimize overall supply chain performance.
• Reporting: Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and market conditions to senior management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Executive or similar role within the manufacturing sector, with a strong focus on steel and solar technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
