About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Purchase Executive

to manage procurement operations for engineering projects. You'll play a key role in

sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, managing purchase orders

, and ensuring timely delivery to our project sites.

Key Responsibilities

Source and procure materials/equipment as per project requirements. Prepare and manage

purchase orders, inquiries, and quotations

. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines with vendors. Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance. Coordinate with stores, accounts, and project teams for smooth delivery. Follow up with vendors for timely dispatch and delivery to site. Identify cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality. Handle urgent and emergency purchases with speed and accuracy.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Good knowledge of industrial products:

piping, civil, fabrication, mechanical, ETP/STP, valves, etc.

Proficient in MS Excel and email communication. Excellent negotiation, follow-up, and organizational skills. Quick decision-maker with a sense of urgency. Knowledge of GST, invoicing, and purchase documentation.
