of Purchase Executive/Sr. ExecutiveResponsibilities:Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of goods and services.Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.Lead the procurement team in sourcing, evaluating, and selecting vendors based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.Implement JIT purchase modelDevelop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in inventory management.Inter department relationship - Collaborate with other departments, such as production, sales, and finance, to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.Develop the team of purchasing and warehouse by providing coaching, guidance, training, and performance feedback.Expertise in procurement of consumables, lubricants, Packing material, tools and spares, electric and mechanical spares and consumables.Establish internal control and SOPs for the purchase and stores departmentQualifications and other criterial:Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, and warehouse operations, with at least 5-10 years in a managerial role.Strong understanding of supply chain principles, procurement best practices, and inventory control techniques.Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving cost savings and improving supplier relationships.Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in procurement and inventory management.Integrity is the utmost importance skill for self and teamA candidate should be from the manufacturing companyPreferable from the local area
