The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing the procurement of sheet metal and related materials for the company. This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining inventory levels to meet production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supplier Management:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for sheet metal and related materials.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure quality and reliability.
2. Procurement Process:
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing and delivery schedules.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
3. Inventory Management:
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production needs while minimizing carrying costs.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate orders to prevent material shortages.
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure efficient material flow.
4. Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure all procurement activities are documented accurately and in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
5. Cost Management:
- Analyze cost trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve procurement cost savings.
6. Coordination and Communication:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production, engineering, and finance, to understand material requirements and timelines.
- Provide regular updates on procurement activities and material availability to relevant stakeholders.
7. Problem Solving:
- Address and resolve any issues related to material quality, delivery delays, or supplier performance.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of procurement-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration(BBA),B.COM, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of market trends and supply chain management principles.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent are a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with occasional visits to supplier locations and manufacturing facilities.
- Some travel may be required for supplier meetings and audits.

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
