The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the procurement of materials and equipment required for power backup systems. This includes sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing. The role also involves tracking inventory levels, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain.
• Vendor Management - building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts.
• Negotiation Skills - securing the best prices and terms for power backup equipment and materials.
• Inventory Management - tracking stock levels and ensuring timely procurement to avoid shortages.
• Cost Control - monitoring budgets and reducing procurement costs without compromising quality.
• Technical Knowledge - understanding of power backup systems, components, and industry-specific products.
• Analytical Skills - evaluating supplier performance, cost comparisons, and market trends.
• Proficiency in ERP/Procurement Software - for managing purchase orders, vendor databases, and inventory.
