We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Purchase Executive

to join our fast-paced team in the FMCG sector. As a Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for the procurement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, ensuring an uninterrupted supply chain for our products. You will play a key role in maintaining supplier relationships, cost management, and ensuring timely availability of products for production.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Planning & Execution:

Understand the demand forecast and coordinate with production, logistics, and other departments to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and goods.

Vendor Management:

Source, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers of raw materials, packaging, and other necessary products. Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.

Purchase Orders & Documentation:

Create, process, and manage purchase orders. Ensure all procurement documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Stock Management:

Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock, ensuring smooth production processes.

Cost Control:

Work with the finance team to manage procurement budgets, monitor cost fluctuations, and find cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all purchased goods meet the company's quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.

Market Research & Supplier Development:

Continuously evaluate market trends, new suppliers, and potential cost-saving measures. Develop strategies to optimize procurement processes.

Supplier Audits & Compliance:

Ensure all suppliers are compliant with contracts, quality standards, and legal regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing role, preferably within the FMCG industry. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control. Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships. Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement software, and MS Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with FMCG products, such as packaging materials, raw materials, or finished goods procurement. Familiarity with inventory management systems specific to FMCG companies.
