Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the acquisition of goods and services, ensuring cost-effective purchases, and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers. This role requires a proactive individual with strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Management:
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.
Maintain and develop strong relationships with key suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Purchasing:
Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and procedures.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs.
Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient stock management.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
Cost Management:
Analyze market trends and pricing strategies to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Develop and implement strategies for reducing procurement costs.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all purchasing activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Maintain comprehensive records of all procurement transactions.
Prepare reports on procurement activities and supplier performance.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments to understand their procurement needs.
Provide support and guidance on procurement-related issues.
Participate in cross-functional teams to improve processes and systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of market research, data analysis, and purchasing best practices.
