Procurement Associate:
We are looking to hire a successful candidate who has a degree in business, logistics, or related fields. The Procurement Associate will play a critical role in leading, developing, and implementing long-term strategies that focus on category-led strategic sourcing, effective contracting, data analysis, spend analytics, and the end-to-end procure-to-pay process. The Procurement Associate will provide high-quality service delivery to ensure all operating units can efficiently procure and obtain the best value for the goods and services needed to support their operations. Also, coordination with multiple functional areas will be imperative, including Accounting and Finance, Compliance, HR, Information Technology, Information Security, Legal, etc. The Procurement Associate will oversee the execution of daily management, operations, and strategic initiatives across the procurement function, as well as develop measurable plans and procurement metrics to ensure that value, customer service, and cost savings goals are met or exceeded.
Conduct product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors
Source material, goods, and services and negotiate the most cost-effective contract and deals
Performing inventory inspection and reordering supplies and stock
Conduct market research to remain updated about emerging trends and business opportunities
Inspect stock and report any faulty item or inconsistencies immediately
Update and maintain records of all orders, payment, and received stock
Skills and Qualification:
Bachelor degree in business, logistics, or related field
Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a purchase executive
Proficiency in relevant management software programs
Superb negotiation skills
Great organization and planning skills
Able to identify market trends and make the decision in a high-stress environment
Able to follow client specifications
Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill
Able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlines
Strong verbal and oral communication skills
