Purchase Executive - Plastic Injection Molding Industry

Qualification:

B.Tech - Mechanical / Diploma

Industry Preferred:

Automotive / Ancillary Industry (Manufacturing - Plastic Injection Molding)

Key Responsibilities

Indent Closure & Purchase Orders

Manage the indent closure process and generate purchase orders based on production requirements and material specifications.

Quotation Arrangement & Comparison

Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotations and conduct thorough cost comparisons to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.

RFQ Closure & Drawing Study

Facilitate the Request for Quotation (RFQ) closure process and analyze technical drawings to assess material and component requirements accurately.

MIS Updates & Reporting

Provide daily updates via the Management Information System (MIS) regarding procurement status, order processing, and inventory management.

Procurement of Consumables & BOP Items

Source and procure consumables and Buy-Out Parts (BOP) essential for manufacturing processes.

Vendor Relationship Management

Procure child parts from vendors according to delivery schedules, ensuring adherence to quality and timelines for components such as Plastic Molding, Die Casting, Forging, and Turned Components.

Negotiation & Commercial Terms

Conduct price negotiations, establish contractual terms, and optimize procurement costs and agreements.

Supply & Payment Issue Resolution

Handle supply chain issues, resolve payment discrepancies, and maintain smooth operations by providing monthly schedules to vendors.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

Proficiency in MS Excel, Email applications, and Google Sheets Strong understanding of MIS reporting and ERP systems for procurement operations Ability to interpret technical drawings for precise procurement decisions

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
