Job Title: - Purchasing Personal
Position & Reporting: - CEO
Job Purpose - Responsible for the strategic procurement of goods and services essential for the smooth functioning of the organization.
All goods & services required to be procured are included in the scope. Also included in the scope is finalising contracts for job work. Assistant purchase manager's role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
KRA's
• To develop purchasing strategies and prepare annual budgets.
• To select prospective vendors, negotiate prices and other terms with them and visit the facility.
• To evaluate vendors based on quality, timeliness and price.
• To research sourcing for new suppliers and vendors & rationalise vendor base
• To prepare cost estimates and manage within budgets
• To monitor and analyse market trends, pricing, and product availability.
• To maintain records of goods ordered and received.
• To coordinate with peers to monitor inventory to avoid crisis management - no stock outs.
• To perform inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
• To prepare for presentation reports on the functioning of department whenever required
• To create and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
• To ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
• To manage records of all orders, payments, and business stock
• To collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs.
• To conduct market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
• To maintain cordial relations with other members of the purchasing team.
• To maintain cordial relations with internal and external customers.
• To establish professional relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• To adopt a proactive approach and address problems when they arise.
• To do any other job assigned by the Management from time to time.
AREA OF OPERATION: All goods & services
Qualification: -
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, logistics, or supply chain management.
2-3 years of experience in the relevant field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
