Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Executive to oversee the procurement of goods and services for our company. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions, maintain strong relationships with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials. This role involves managing the purchasing process from vendor identification to negotiation and ensuring quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source and identify potential suppliers for required products and services.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with vendors to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Issue purchase orders and track the delivery of goods and services to ensure they meet agreed specifications and timelines.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.
• Analyze market trends, supplier pricing, and payment terms to identify the best opportunities for savings.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventories.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering long-term partnerships.
• Coordinate with internal departments (production, finance, etc.) to understand purchasing requirements and align procurement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements related to purchasing activities.
• Resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing with suppliers.
• Regularly review and update purchasing policies, procedures, and documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or similar role, with a strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong vendor relationships.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of inventory management and demand planning.
• Experience in industries related to medical.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
