Vendor assessment & selection in terms of technology, quality, cost, delivery capacity etc.
Development, localization & sourcing of vendors & procurement & development of new parts.
Floating of inquiry, receipt of quotations, preparing comparative statements, handling costing, negotiation & finalization of order with management, releasing of purchase orders, follow-up and direct contact with vendor during order execution until delivery and payment.
Negotiations of purchasing documents like non-disclosure agreement, general purchasing terms, specific contracts and quality assurance agreements.
Coordination with technical team of all subsidiaries & Mother Company for localization projects.
Assist technical order management team for realization of projects.
Work towards cost reduction, supplier rationalization and disposal of non-moving inventory.
Cross-functional liaison with design, quality, order management, stores & logistics, production & finance) to improve order related processes.
Attend all order management and production meetings in support of the order process.
Assist in all other procurement and administrative duties related to maintenance, repair, capital equipment purchases, contracting services, getting quotations from Vendors for
Outsourced Services, developing new vendors and contracts administration as and when its required.
