Job Responsibilities:

Identify and source raw materials, packaging materials, equipment, and services required for the Chemical or Pharma Company\'s operations.
Manage the procurement process from identifying potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, placing orders, and following up on deliveries.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring that they meet the company\'s quality and delivery requirements.
Monitor and manage inventory levels of purchased items, ensuring that there are no stock-outs or excess inventory.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that purchasing activities align with the company\'s operational needs and budget.
Implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality or delivery.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new products to ensure the company is getting the best value for money.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and pricing agreements.
Participate in supplier audits and visits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Provide regular reports on purchasing activities to management.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement in the Chemical or Pharma industry.
Bachelor\'s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field such as B.Tech/B.E.
Good knowledge of English language (spoken and written) is a must.
Ability to negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors.
Strong analytical skills to analyze pricing and evaluate supplier proposals.
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and vendors to ensure that purchasing activities align with company goals.
Familiarity with sourcing and procurement software and tools.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
Familiarity with quality control and assurance processes.
