Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for the Purchase & Commercial Executive position. The candidate will oversee the procurement and commercial functions of recycled HDPE, PP, and PET materials. This includes managing purchasing processes, vendor negotiations, purchase order creation, and ensuring a cost-effective and efficient supply chain. Additionally, the role requires analytical skills to support the company's sustainability initiatives by promoting recycled plastics.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for recycled HDPE, PP, and PET materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors for reliable and cost-effective sourcing.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms while ensuring compliance with company policies and sustainability goals.
• Monitor supplier performance, material quality, and market trends to ensure a stable supply chain.
• Coordinate with the sales, logistics, and operations teams to maintain inventory levels and ensure timely deliveries.
• Handle all commercial documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and shipping records.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and industry standards for recycled plastics.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in the plastic industry, particularly in procurement, commercial, or supply chain roles.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, purchase management, and handling of purchase orders.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively manage vendor relationships and ensure favorable terms.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to assess market trends and supplier performance.
• Knowledge of sustainable practices in purchasing and recycling, aligned with the company's environmental goals.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration , Supply Chain Management , or a related field is preferred.
