Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Assistant to support our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing purchase orders, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring effective communication with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure timely processing.
• Scan and send POs to suppliers promptly.
• Maintain and update Excel data related to purchases and inventory.
• Organize and file relevant documents for easy access and reference.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Assist in any other purchasing-related tasks as needed.
Required Skills and Expertise:
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong email communication skills for effective correspondence with suppliers.
• Familiarity with Tally or similar accounting software is a plus.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com).
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a purchasing or administrative role.
Age Criteria:
Candidates should be between 23 to 30 years old.
