We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pump Operator to join our team. The Pump Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of pump systems and related equipment in various industrial and construction settings. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operation and Monitoring: Operate and monitor various types of pumps, including centrifugal, reciprocating, and submersible pumps, ensuring optimal performance.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on pumps and related equipment to prevent downtime.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety inspections and report any hazards or incidents.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and records of pump operations, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered.
• Coordination: Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, technicians, and site supervisors, to coordinate pump operations and ensure seamless project execution.
• Quality Control: Monitor fluid levels, pressures, and flow rates, making adjustments as necessary to meet operational specifications and quality standards.
• Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, such as pump failures or leaks, promptly and effectively to minimize impact on operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in mechanical or industrial fields is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pump operator or in a similar role within an industrial or construction setting.

Skills:

• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?22,000.00 per month
