Job Summary:

As a Pump Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of pump systems and components. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet customer requirements and industry standards. You will apply your technical expertise to create innovative solutions and improve existing designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:
• Design new pump systems and components, including impellers, casings, seals, and other mechanical parts.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed design drawings and models.
• Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to validate designs.
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for pump components.
• Testing and Validation:
• Develop and execute test plans to evaluate pump performance.
• Analyze test data and make necessary design modifications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Project Management:
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
• Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Provide technical support during the production and installation phases.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.
• Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for product improvements and cost reductions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in pump design and development.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Experience with FEA and CFD tools for design validation.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and mechanical engineering principles.

• Certifications:
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not required.
