Publishing Relations ExecutiveDo you have Customer Service Experience?Do you enjoy being part of team that collaborates to deliver cutting-edge content?About Our Team: The Content & Data Sourcing (CDS) team is responsible for the acquisition and licensing strategy of third-party content across a wide range of Elsevier products. We manage relationships with over 15,000 content partners, encompassing various content types (e.g., books, journals, standards, funding data, patents) and data elements (e.g., abstracts, keywords, references). Our objective is to ensure compliance when accessing and reusing content to support strategic and monetizable innovation. The CDS team ensures the successful onboarding of new sources and content providers, securing rights and permissions, and establishing effective content delivery methods.About The Role:The Publishing Relations Executive plays a crucial role in executing operational activities related to the onboarding of third-party content and maintaining these Content Partner accounts in our databases. You will uphold Elsevier's best practices for the use and display of third-party content, safeguarding both Elsevier's reputation and the intellectual property of our partners. Additionally, you will enhance customer experience (CX) by proactively addressing pain points related to content ingestion and indexation processes. We are seeking a self-organized, results-driven, proactive, and customer-centric individual with strong relationship-building skills and business acumen. You will ensure that operational activities are carried out smoothly while meeting necessary quality standards and timelines.As a team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills, you will be based in Chennai and report to the Team Manager xe2x80x93 Publishing Relations Management.Responsibilities:Maintain trusted relationships with content partners by supporting the critical operational activities in the onboarding and post onboarding workflows.Act as a gatekeeper, ensuring Elsevier's best practices for the use and display of third-party content, safeguarding Elsevier's reputation and content partners' intellectual property.Deliver a smooth, unfragmented, and consistent customer experience across all touchpoints and various stages of the Content lifecycle.Execute initiatives supporting content growth through faster onboarding and ongoing source maintenance.Facilitate new content delivery setups and manage transitions in content delivery platforms and formats to ensure speed and completeness.Support the lifecycle of the licensing process, including renewal activities for selected content partners.Requirements:Publishing Knowledge: Familiar with publishing processes and best practices.Customer experience (CX) enthusiast with a devotion to providing high-quality service.Competent in the use of Windows applications including the MS Office suite of programs.Data Literate: Possesses strong analytical and reasoning skills.Salesforce Proficiency: Experience with Salesforce is a plus.Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in any discipline3+ years of proven corporate experience, preferably in an international matrix organizationLots of energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for customer experience and continuous improvements.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.AWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization.
