The brand also plans to target parents with future children's books.:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Publishing Manager to oversee the publication processes of our diverse range of books. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in publishing, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead a team and ensure that all publications meet our high standards of quality and are delivered on time.Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee the entire publishing process from manuscript submission to final publication, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of editors, designers, and other publishing staff, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals.
• Editorial Oversight: Ensure the editorial quality of all publications, including proofreading, copy-editing, and fact-checking.
• Collaboration: Work closely with translators, proof readers, freelance contributors, and other stakeholders to develop and produce high-quality content.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the publishing industry.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports on project status and other key metrics to senior management.

• Experience: Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in a publishing role, with at least 2 - 3 years in a managerial position.
• Education: Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Publishing, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Portfolio: A Strong understanding of the publishing industry, including print and digital formats.
• Creativity: Exceptional editorial skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software and publishing tools.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative thinker who can innovate and adapt to changing market conditions.
• Passion for literature and a deep understanding of the publishing landscape.
