We are hiring a Public Relations officer to be based at Medical College, Trivandrum.

Job Summary: To generate the maximum amount of profit by improving the business through new and existing customers aware of the company's product range services.

Responsibilities

Continuously promote the services of the organization to potential customers of the medical profession with a view to increasing their referrals to our centers and increasing the use of our various services for the benefit of their patients.

Maintain a classified (A,B,C,D) list of the most potential customers in and around the assigned territory ( as defined from time to time) and will be responsible for the business from the area, updating the list constantly with the changing customers to ensure the most productive list for promotion of services.

Should maintain all personal information of the customer including degrees, address, telephone both office and residence, mobile no, birthdates, marriage anniversary dates etc for building longstanding professional relationships.

Constantly update his or her knowledge with the support of the technical support department to promote the services, especially the special services, in a confident and technically correct manner thereby winning the trust of the medical faculty.

PRO should base his or her work on a standard work plan to ensure the correct frequency of visits with the proper inputs such as technical brochures, gifts etc. and the knowledge of the immediate business history of the customer to effectively promote the service of the organization.

Should be ready to meet each customer in the most convenient time for the customer for maximum impact in promotion.

Implement the strategies adopted by the organization in the market without fail and they should spend most of their time in the field.

Furnish daily reports for all field working days.

Update his of her knowledge of competitor activity and give regular feedback to the organization to counter the strategies adopted by the opposition

Attend all trainings conducted by the organization to improve their efficiency.

The work of the PRO will be judged on the basis of the results produced and it should be their focus to produce the best results they possibly can, by implementing all the strategies effectively in the field, and building up the image of the organization.

Duties

Achieving the Revenue Objectives of the Organization from the Assigned Territory /Customers on a continuous basis.

Achieving the Specific Service /Test Objectives from the Assigned Territory / Customers on a continuous basis.

Proper promotion of the Services /Test as required from time to time with the help of promotional material, where available.

Implementing various Business Strategies of the company as planned.

Regular visits to the customers at their preferred timings and development of the customers in the territory by building good professional relationship with them.

Addition and deletion of customers in the assigned territory with the permission of managers so that the most productive customer list is maintained always.

Handholding customer request and facilitating them by coordinating with all other departments of the organization.

Supporting the smooth function of the Assigned branches to develop their business

Coordinating with customer professional bodies to conduct meetings as and when required for promotional like IMA, KGMOA etc.

Conducting market surveys with customers, pharmacies, medical stores and other such sources to collect proper business trends and feedbacks to help develop the business of the organization.

Coordinating medical camps, newspaper insert promotions or any other special promotion activity when required.

Interacting with various Government Departments as and when required to develop business.

Proper Work Reports have to be handed over daily in a regular manner besides communicating important matters directly.

14. Continuous updation of Services /Test knowledge to effectively promote them to the medical fraternity.

15. Implementation of applicable QMS Like ISO 9001:2005 , NABL and any other system being introduced from time to time by the organization.

16. Conducting yourself in a polished and professional manner to represent the organization in an honorable way being the ambassadors of it.

17. Following a distinguished dress code to impressively represent the organization.
