Company DescriptionLaunched in 2007, ixigo is an AI-based travel app based in Gurugram, India. ixigo services Indian travellers and their travel utility, planning and booking problems using technology and artificial intelligence. Offering train, flight and bus utility & bookings, the company applies AI for deal discovery, personalized recommendations, airfare predictions & alerts, train delay prediction, PNR confirmation prediction and automated customer service.The Public Relations Executive will be responsible for supporting the entire PR function of ixigo and its subsidiaries in terms of building and maintaining media relationships in the travel, technology, aviation, etc. domains. Key responsibilities will include:

• Creating and maintaining an ongoing media relationship with Key journalists in the travel, technology, aviation, etc. domains (Pan India)
• Ongoing media outreach
• Organizing and conducting Relationship Building Meetings for key spokesperson
• Maintaining high traction on ongoing media coverage (Online, Print, TV, etc.)
• Preparing daily and monthly coverage reports
• Writing & disseminating press releases, notes, quotes, etc.
• Ensuring participation in awards, events, speakership opportunities, etc.
• Generating new ideas and leads to improve media presence & brand awareness
• Working on CSR initiatives

Qualifications

• Must have worked with travel/technology clients in the past and have strong contact and connections with the travel, tech, aviation media.
• Full Time Graduate/Post Graduate in English, Journalism, Mass communication, PR/Advertising.
• 2-4 years of experience in public relations, preferably with a top PR agency.
• Excellent command over the English language
• High energy and drive to work in a startup environment
• Excellent team player
• Strong communication skills
