74.5 To help doing the billing, getting appointments by liaising with the FO staff in case of an elderly patient coming alone, as per the turn of the patient.
74.6 To escort patient to the respective department in the hospital if required/ requested for.
74.7 To update the patient about the availability of the reports at the dispatch counter if enquired by the patient & facilitate the dispatch of the reports if requested by the patient by liaising with MIHU staff, as a gesture.
74.8 Coordinating with the technicians/nurses/Frontoffice staff/doctors to give priority to the case & decrease the waiting time in the OPD/Lab/Diagnostic, on case to case basis (preferably only for elderly pts without any attendant) i.e., requesting to take pt out of turn with the consent of the other patients waiting by explaining the need of it (also see SOP Front Office point 7.26).
74.9 To arrange with the help of DOSA for the vehicle /taxi to drop the member at their desire destination / home if requested by the patient.
74.10 To arrange for the homecare services & ambulances services for the patient if requested.
74.11 To try & resolve any issues related to the patient & escalate to higher level as per the hierarchy , if required
74.12 The elderly patients will also be informed about the Elderly Care Clinic in the OPD and encouraged to go there.
74.13 Handle Security Deposit work from 12.00 noon to 4.00 pm from Mon to Sat.
74.14 Escorting VIP in Patient in Health Check Up department when needed.
74.15 Sending Duty Rota.
