Psychometric Testing and Qualification Specialist (HVAC)
As a Psychometric Testing and Qualification Specialist in the field of HVAC, your role involves assessing and evaluating various aspects related to HVAC systems, equipment. You\'ll use testing, statistical analysis, and psychometric tools to ensure the effectiveness, safety, and compliance of HVAC systems. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications:
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Psychometric tests to potential HVAC systems and lab activities.
• Conduct psychometric testing on HVAC systems to optimize performance.
• Assist in system commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to understand and review mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with HVAC companies, manufacturers, or regulatory bodies to create surveys and questionnaires.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports on system performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in administering and scoring standardized psychometric tests.
• Testing systems using specialized and calibrated instruments to measure system\'s performance
• Attention to Detail: Accurate data collection and scoring are crucial for valid psychometric evaluations.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Candidate should be good at understanding of psychrometric chart and its evaluation.
• Hands on experience on evaluating parameters like dry bulb, wet bulb temperature and humidity control.
• Experienced in process like humidification, dehumidification and understanding of charts to evaluate results.
• Good experience on efficiency calculation and evaluation.
• Knowledge of HVAC Systems. Familiarity with HVAC terminology, equipment, and industry standards.
• Prepare test reports using data and results obtained during testing.
• Work with project managers and subsystem/component leads to develop and maintain project schedules.

Education and Training Requirements:

• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical or a related field is typically required.
• Additional certifications or coursework in psychometrics, assessment, or HVAC-related topics are advantageous.
