1. Assistant Professor (Psychiatry)

Location: Solan, Himachal Pradesh
Position: Assistant Professor (Psychiatry)
Job Type: Full-Time, Contractual
Salary: Negotiable pay scale.

:

• Teach and mentor undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate students in Psychiatry.
• Provide psychiatric care, including patient consultations, therapy, and pharmacological management in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Assist in clinical rounds, case presentations, and department-led academic activities.
• Participate in research projects, academic publications, and professional conferences.
• Support the department in clinical audits, quality control, and curriculum development.

Qualifications:

• MBBS with MD/DNB in Psychiatry from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching or clinical experience after postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry (preferred).
• Registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the State Medical Council.
• Strong interest in academic and clinical psychiatry.

2. Professor (Psychiatry)

Location: Solan, Himachal Pradesh
Position: Professor (Psychiatry)
Job Type: Full-Time, Contractual
Salary: Negotiable pay scale.

:

• Lead the Psychiatry Department, overseeing all academic, clinical, and research activities.
• Teach and mentor undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students in Psychiatry.
• Provide expert psychiatric care, including complex case management, psychotherapy, and pharmacotherapy.
• Conduct and publish high-quality research in Psychiatry, with a focus on innovative treatments and patient care.
• Oversee departmental administration, including academic program development, student evaluation, and faculty supervision.
• Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with other medical departments to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

• MBBS with MD/DNB in Psychiatry from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in Psychiatry, with at least 3 years as an Associate Professor.
• Proven track record in research and academic publications.
• Registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the State Medical Council.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing a department preferred.
