Location : Guru Rajendra Jain International School, Mohankheda Jain Tirth, Rajgarh (Dhar).

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Social Studies Teacher with an experience in teaching CBSE to join our school. The candidate should have a strong background in social studies education, with a focus on engaging and inspiring students in the subject. This role involves teaching and mentoring students within a residential school setting, fostering academic growth, and supporting their holistic development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver creative and engaging lesson plans, focusing primarily on social studies subjects such as history, geography, civics, and economics - that meet curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of residential school students.

Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, group activities, projects, and technology integration, to keep students actively involved in learning.

Effectively assess student progress through tests, quizzes, presentations, and projects, providing constructive feedback to improve their understanding.

Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, tolerance, and collaboration.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior, and communicate effectively with parents/guardians and relevant stakeholders regarding student progress, concerns, and achievements.

Contribute to the residential school community by participating in dormitory life activities and after school prep classes (as assigned).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school, preferably in a residential school environment.

Teaching certification required (e.g., B.Ed or equivalent).

Strong knowledge of Social Studies curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a commitment to the well-being of students in a residential school environment.
