Primary Science Teacher Position Overview: The Primary Science Teacher is responsible for teaching fundamental science concepts to young learners, fostering curiosity, and developing a solid understanding of scientific principles. This role involves creating engaging, hands-on lessons that stimulate a love for science while ensuring students grasp the basics of biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science. Key Responsibilities: 1. Curriculum Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging lessons in line with the science curriculum, focusing on key scientific concepts appropriate for primary school students. 2. Hands-on Learning: Incorporate experiments, practical activities, and interactive lessons to enhance student understanding of scientific topics. 3. Assessment & Evaluation: Regularly assess and track student progress through quizzes, assignments, projects, and observations, providing feedback to students and parents. 4. Lesson Planning: Create and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students can understand and engage with the material. 5. Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and productive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and respect. 6. Concept Introduction: Introduce students to basic scientific topics such as plants, animals, weather, space, the human body, and matter, building a foundation for more complex subjects in later grades. 7. Encourage Critical Thinking: Promote problem-solving, experimentation, and inquiry-based learning to develop students' critical thinking and scientific reasoning skills. 8. Student Support: Identify students who may need extra help and provide additional support or adapt lessons to meet their needs. 9. Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers and staff to integrate cross-curricular connections and enhance students' overall learning experience. 10. Safety and Supervision: Ensure student safety during science experiments and practical activities, teaching the proper use of scientific equipment and materials. 11. Parent Communication: Regularly communicate with parents or guardians about student progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Teaching certification or relevant teaching qualifications. Experience teaching science to primary school students. Strong understanding of child development and educational methodologies. Ability to design and implement hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences. Skills: Knowledge of primary science curriculum standards and frameworks. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Ability to inspire curiosity and a love for science in young learners. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in integrating technology and multimedia resources into lessons. This role plays a key part in shaping young learners' understanding of the world around them and fostering a lifelong interest in science.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,723.09 - ?18,138.65 per month
