Customers - small, medium and large - have used the Coupa platform to bring billions of dollars in cumulative spend under management.Coupa is looking for an energetic Proposal Manager who will be responsible for managing Proposal and RFP processes and responding to customer requests for functional, technical, and security related requirements. The Proposal Manager will work with cross-functional teams to develop winning strategies and proposals for Coupa's Business Spend Management solutions. The Proposal Manager will also create and improve processes and tools to help manage proposals driven by multiple moving parts and deadlines.Responsibilities:

• Support a full service and self-service Proposal and RFP Desk for Coupa's global sales organization.
• MANDATORY: Independently prepare written responses to RFPs, which include product compliance matrices and technical (i.e. IT, architecture, security) surveys. The Coupa Proposal Manager will independently respond to RFPs with hundreds of detailed functional & technical questions that span over 15 applications.
• Manage internal reviews and coordinate preparation of responses to RFIs, RFPs, or Sources Sought notices as well as provides comprehensive writing support as a lead for the proposal.
• Prioritize RFPs and balance high workloads with short deadlines and fast turnaround times.
• Collaborate with account reps, executives, legal, finance, sales operations, product management, marketing, and engineers to create proposal strategies and win plans.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Business Spend Management industry experience (e.g. Procurement, Invoicing/AP, Expenses, Sourcing, Contracts, Spend Analytics, etc.), in the following, or similar, roles: Proposal Manager, Consultant, Analyst, Pre-Sales, etc. Minimum of 3-5 years.
• Functional knowledge of Business Spend Management applications (e.g. Procurement, Invoicing/AP, Expenses, Sourcing, Contracts, Spend Analytics, etc.)
• Technical knowledge of SaaS/cloud computing.
• Independent learner and self-starter
• Excellent written and editing skills - English required, other languages desired.
• Project Management skills
• Technical and Business writing skills (whitepapers, proposals, competitive responses)
• Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
