Would you like to work in an international, innovative organization, where we produce high-quality solutions and are constantly looking to enhance existing and develop new offerings?What is the job about?The Proposal Engineer primary responsibility is to drive Indian Industry project proposals from customer request for quotation through to submittal of the proposal to the customer, including negotiations with the appropriate sales representative, ensuring a profitable business and customer satisfaction.Specifically, you will work to:

• Manage high complexity projects utilizing the agreed systems and project execution processes, in a timely fashion, acting as a project manager for those projects assigned to him/her.
• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring all aspects in the project: tasks to be done, resources, dates, costs, financials, etc., maximizing profitable sales through delivery of projects from order fulfilment to after sales to time, cost and quality in a professional manner to the satisfaction of customers.
• Monitoring compliance to contract, applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, Health & Safety and specifications. Follow, adhere and ensure a high level of awareness to the Grundfos project execution processes
• Main point of contact with customer for the project, and handle customer issues if and when these arise working closely with the others departments.
• Main technical responsible of the project in front of the customer, providing technical solutions and documentation dossiers to customers when needed by the project.
• Go to site and manage sub-suppliers and sub-contractors with supply agreements and ensure alignment of service levels for projects to be delivered to time cost and quality.
• Support quotation and proposal team to be able to evaluate projects properly in the scope, time, cost, risks and quality.
• Reporting projects finance and status, and compilation of closing project and lessons learned documentation in line with the agreed format and standards
• Carry out logistics activities in the workshop to ensure timely and accurate delivery to site, if and when required.
• Work with the Finance / Credit Control Team to secure on time payment.
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner with our customers at all times
• Other ad hoc tasks or projects as and when required

Your Background

• Bachelor's in Engineering/Master's degree in Business with at least 5+ years of experience from a large international company working in end to end Project proposal Management.
• Proven track record in project management with a focus on overseeing the end to end process
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with the project vision and goals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and other languages a plus
