The role involves implementing, managing, and optimizing Proofpoint security solutions to protect the organization's email infrastructure, safeguard data, and mitigate online threats. The candidate will work closely with the IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure robust protection against email-borne attacks, phishing, and data leaks.




• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Proofpoint's email security solution
• Configure and administer Proofpoint solutions, including Email Gateway, Threat Protection, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Monitor Proofpoint dashboards for email threats and remediate issues proactively.
• Implement rules, policies, and alerts to enhance email security.
• Configure and manage outbound email policies to prevent data leaks.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards for data handling.
• Experienced in Outbound Email Protection.
• Experienced in DLP for Outbound emails.
• Experienced Outbound threat intelligence.
• Responds to customer requests for adding new rules, features, policies, routes, etc
• Assists in handling customer escalations
• Monitors cases to ensure that tasks are accurate, viable, and completed within SLO guidelines
• Manage team on-call rotation after hours and on weekends, serving as a point of escalation as necessary
• Provide flexibility with schedule to cover job requirements
• Provide technical and analytical guidance/feedback to team members
