PROMPT ENGINEER

We are seeking a skilled Generative AI Prompt Engineer with expertise in the latest AI tools and technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality, AI-generated multimedia content for publication on various platforms, including a virtual reality channel.

We are situated on the premises of IIT Madras Research Park, Chennai, India. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop effective prompts for GenAI models such as Chat GPT, Mid Journey, Stable Diffusion, etc.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications
• Evaluate the performance of Gen AI models through various metrics and user testing
• Research the latest trends and tech in AI, prompt structures and techniques, LLMs, and SLMs
• Work with the development team to properly integrate prompts into products and services
• Develop detailed and clear functional documentation
• Data collection, cleansing, and preparation where applicable
• Ensure rigorous testing and validation processes for all developed prompts
• Iteratively monitor and analyze the performance of existing prompts and fine-tune them as needed to optimize their effectiveness based on model performance and user feedback.
• Ensure prompts are designed to minimize bias and promote fairness in AI responses
• Continuously monitor and address ethical concerns related to AI-generated content
• Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for issues related to prompt performance

REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE):

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or related field; a Bachelor's Degree in the aforementioned fields will be considered in case of exceptional candidates
• At least 4 years of experience writing functional analyses in software development contexts, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of artificial intelligence
• Demonstrated experience in prompt engineering
• Experience in breaking down complex business requirements into clear and actionable technical tasks
• In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Python and ML/Data Science libraries (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, Keras, Pytorch, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, etc.).
• Knowledge of code repository, IDE and versioning system
• Strong understanding of NLP concepts and techniques, libraries and frameworks like spaCy, NLTK, or transformers.
• Knowledge of Explainable AI frameworks (Lime, SHAP, etc.)
• Familiarity with AI compliance, safety, and ethics laws and regulations.
• Experience using LLM APIs and integrating LLM solutions into applications REQUIREMENTS (NICE TO HAVE):
• Academic publications or contributions to projects in the field of AI and language models
• Knowledge of RAG systems, NLP and Computational Linguistics (Categorization, NER, Text Generation, Recommendation)
• Knowledge of AWS or at least one other cloud provider (i.e. Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of Non-Relational Databases
• AI model training
• Experience with Neural Networks for unstructured data (text, audio, images, video)
