You will be working as Project Specialist and reporting to the Project Operations Manager for Electrification business area, Distribution Solutions division based in Vadodara, India. You will be responsible for leading the execution of small projects with low complexity and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, relevant cyber security regulations and standards, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, cost or profitability targets and scheduling targets Your responsibilities Managing the complete life cycle of electrification SCADA network or automation engineering tasks including review of customer engineering documents Executing the design, analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, product or program requirements Preparing and approving scoping documents, network topologies, automation cabinet or panel designs Developing network system description and testing procedures, application of IEC 61850 and other TCP/IP network protocols such as Modbus, IEC 60870-5-104/101/103, Ethernet IP, and other industrial protocols Configuring network and communication devices e.g. ethernet switches Layer-2 & Layer-3 network redundancy configurations (RSTP, PRP, HSR etc.), security firewall configurations, protocol converters or gateways etc Coordinating to execute engineering tasks to ensure timely release of design documents. Maintains open communication and collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and customers Interacting with customers, contractors, suppliers and attending project meetings and presents all technical aspects of project assignments In depth knowledge of ABB Zenon package/ZEE600, AC500 PLC, RIO600, Arctic wireless devices, Load Shedding, Protection Relays and Software tools Your background Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical or Electronics Minimum 5 years of experience in integrating and implementing SCADA system for utilities, data center, oil & gas, mining, food and beverage, and transportation industries proficiency in Structure Text, FBD and Ladder Logic application of IEC 61131 standard Development of HMI configuration of IEC 61850 and OPC UA communication gateway Understanding and correctly interpreting customer specifications, single line diagrams, communication integration block diagramsUnderstanding IEC 61850 requirements and has a strong understanding of networking management and configurations using networking products such as ethernet switches, Firewalls etc Knowledge of MV Switchgear and power system protection, willing to travel ( 50%) More about us ABB\'s Distribution Solutions Division provides utility, industrial and commercial customers with safe, smart and sustainable technologies for the distribution of electricity.
